2016 Honda PCX 150 Scooter

The Honda PCX is a scooter developed by Honda. It was produced by Thai Honda Manufacturing until 2013; starting from 2014 it is produced by Honda Vietnam.

Honda PCX was first introduced for sale in November 2009.

The global version of the Honda PCX is equipped with an idling stop system, which automatically shuts off the engine after few seconds of idle.[8] This feature is not included on the US model due to safety concerns.

To prevent excess wear on a separate starter motor, the Honda PCX uses its alternator by supplying power to the stator (see Brushless DC electric motor). As a result, engine start is completely muted.

Other Honda 125/150 scooters with eSP moniker share a common engine with the Honda PCX

Suzuki Hayate Scooter 125

The Suzuki Hayate 125 Scooter, or UW125C as its factory designation, is an motorcycle powered by a 4-Stroke, single cylinder, forced air-cooled, SOHC, 2-valve 124.1cc engine, with a bore 53.5mm and 55.2mm stroke, producing a compression ratio of 9.6:1. The engine lubrication is by Suzuki own invented lubrication system, Suzuki Advanced Lubrication & Cooling System, which forces lubrication to the most remote parts of the engine. Making the Suzuki Hayate engine one of the most effective lubricated 125cc engines I ever seen.

Lubrication of engine parts is mostly overlooked now-a-days as people seem to care more how the motorcycle looks then how long it will give you the pleasure of driving it. The transmission of the Suzuki Hayate is by CVT/V-belt, providing a smooth ride with this step-less automatic belt transmission. The fuel tank hold 4.7liter fuel and is good for about 164 kilometer.

The Suzuki Hayate 125 suspension is basic telescopic, coil Spring, oil damped front suspension and conventional double-tube shocks, oil damped rear suspension. With front and back spoke wheels equipped with 220mm front disc brake and 190mm rear drum brake.

Yoshimura Suzuki GSX 1000

The names of Suzuki and Yoshimura have denoted racing success since 1978, when “Pops” Yoshimura – real name Hideo Yoshimura – and Wes Cooley took a Suzuki GS to victory at Daytona. Today, Yoshimura, now managed by Pops’ son, Fujio, runs Suzuki’s US superbike racing team.
Naturally, racing Suzuki GSX-Rs, Yoshimura is in a unique position to develop performance parts for the big Gixxer and other bikes, something it has done for close to 60 years. For the 2017 Suzuki GSX-R1000, Yoshimura has come up with a set of street and race exhausts in steel and titanium, along with other parts designed to enhance the GSX-R’s race performance.
